THE IDEA
What if tabletop role playing games could help us tell new kinds of stories, in unexpected locations?
What if actual play wasn't only made at a table?
What if we used the documentary filmmaking techniques to capture the process of making actual play in a new way?
What if we brought together some of the best creative minds in NYC to make it happen?
This is what we came up with: a cohort of 15 inspiring artists and technicians, a united season of 6 brand-new stories, one unforgettable adventure.

THE SEASON
This is Who We Were: a season of six site-specific actual plays all about the relationships, memories, and communities that shape who we are, and how our perceptions of those things change over time.
This is a season about grief, nostalgia, growing up, and old ways ceding into new.
Join us as we explore who we were, and who we are becoming.
